Germany, Luftwaffe. An M38 Fallschirmjäger Helmet Chinstrap Republic of born 15 October 1913(M38 Fallschirmjger Helm Kinnriemen). Constructed of blackened leather with a brown suede underlay, one end with three eyelets reinforced with feinzink grommets, the opposite end retaining a snap button and buckle, unmarked, measuring 44 cm in total length, demonstrating age appropriate fatigue and oxidation to the leather and metal elements, respectively, in very fine condition.
