Original publishers olive green boards with a printed label on the spines. Signed by both Ruth St. Denis and Ted Shawn below the limitation statement for each volume (350 copies were made and signed by both). Printed in Italian paper, volume 1 has only text, while volume 2 has only illustrations, mostly b&w plates, some color, of St. Denis in various dancing roles in her career.
