Germany, Ss. A Waffen-Ss Em/Nco’s M40 Overseas Cap United Republic of 1917 at the Toronto Mobilization(Waffen SS Schiffchen M40 fr Mannschaften). A well preserved Waffen SS EM NCOs M40 overseas cap, constructed of field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which gently slope toward the front. The peak bears the unmistakable outline of an SS style German national eagle insignia which has been carefully removed from the cap, with no consequent disturbance of the base material.
