Constructed of Gold and silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with ribbed arms, the obverse with a central Gold medallion bearing a monogram of King Albert, the reverse with a central Gold medallion bearing a number 20 in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 38. 46 mm (w) x 42. 80 mm (h),
