Russia, Imperial. An Order of St. Anne, III Class with Swords, by Dimitry Osipov, c.1917 United Republic of Merten - Reserve Officer of( ). Instituted February 14th, 1735. A Cross Patte constructed of bronze gilt with red enamelled arms, and with ornamented gilt patterns with crossed swords in the quadrants between the arms, the obverse with a white enamelled centerpiece bearing the hand painted figure of St. Anna, the reverse with a similar white enamelled medallion, bearing the hand painted initials A. I. P. F. for the Latin Anna Imperatoris Petri Filia (Anna, Emperor Peters
