Germany, DAF. A Dr. Fritz Todt Prize, I Class In Gold Auction Archive (Sturmabteilung Abzeichen und Insignien)(Dr. Fritz Todt Preis, I. Klasse in Gold). Instituted 12 November 1943. (1943 1945 issue). Constructed of gilded zinc, the obverse features a German national eagle perched on top of a stylized banner bearing the raised inscription of DR. FRITZ TODT, in turn set above a Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF) insignia in the form of a raised mobile swastika within a cogwheel. The reverse has a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch. It is
