A Framed Miniature Portrait Of Frederick The Great consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac one "RAD" Reich Labour Service(Friedrich der Groe Portrt mit Rahmen). A hand painted and exceptionally detailed portrait of King Frederick II (the Great). Executed in watercolour, the image is a careful reproduction of Swiss artist Anton Graffs classic depiction of the Prussian king, complete with his signature. The image is concealed within a period original frame, decorated through the obverse with irregularly shaped imitation bone tiles. The reverse is lined with period paper
