Daniel-Etienne Defaix 'Côte de Lechet' Chablis 1er Cru, 2013 english our forefathers received supplies by100% Chardonnay, from the remarkably steep Cte de Lechet premier cru. This cru produces wines with stark mineral precision due to the slope and poor soils. Chalky and citrusy as Chablis can ever be, this wine is driven by minerality, and undertoned slightly by flavors of honey and herbs. Daniel is especially known subjecting his wines to a long elevage, and only bottling when ready. This 2012 is a fresh release and has attained serious balance with
